My Introduction

Introduction

My task this year for my Year 11 coursework will be referring to a music video, radio interview and a CD Cover/album. Also my plan for my task will be making sure to produce a music video that matches to the soundtrack of the song and also a album cover that will be suitable and presentable to use for my presentation.

Furthermore, our group
(myself; Cherise,Yuvraj and Sandeep) will be producing and making a music video and radio interview which will feature in our presentation. I will be researching three different types of music videos which I will be explaining and identifying for the chosen genre to the music.

I will be presenting the genre of music which is POP!
The reason why I have chosen this genre of music is because, I like the style, balance and detail of their music and the bass and sound they use to create this genre.

The three music videos that I'm planning on showing which is a form of pop will be:

- Chris Brown- Turn Up The Music
- Conor Maynard featuring Ne-YO- Turn Around
- Rihanna- Where Have You Been

Also the celebrity that I will be using to show an idea to a radio interview will be Chris Brown who is a very popular and worldwide singer, rapper, dancer and actor and also the album cover I will use to produce an example will also be Chris Brown.

POP (genre) definition of what it means:

Pop is a genre; pop music is very eclectic, often borrowing elements from other styles including urban, dance, rock, Latin and country. Nonetheless, there are core elements which define pop.

It also can be called ‘pure pop’ music, such as power pop, which features all these elements, which include electric guitars, drums and bass for instrumentation. Pop music is generally thought of as a genre which is commercially recorded and desires to have a mass audience appeal.
